President's Day at Whitaker Center

Sofia Valdez, Future Prez wants to invite you to the Whitaker Center on President's Day this Monday, February 20! Whitaker Center will be open from 9:30 am to 3 pm, offering some special additions.

We are showing Ada Twist, Scientist - Oh Parachute/Meltdown  for FREE in the Select Medical Digital Cinema at 10 am, Noon and 2 pm! 

Wings Over Water will play at 11 am and 1 pm (regular cinema prices apply)

There will also be a Parachute Design Challenge in the STEM Design Studios going on throughout the day.

Parachute Design Challenge:
Scientists need to test all sorts of materials to determine what the best resource is for their project. At the parachute station, thinking minds will be put to the test as you work to build a parachute that guides the weight to the floor the smoothest. Come visit us and find out what materials and shapes you think work best to make a model parachute. 

AND, The Questioneers traveling exhibit will be open. We hope you will stop in on this holiday to celebrate with us!
