They Had a Dream: Honoring Women of Color in Space Exploration

Whitaker Center is hosting this space-themed day featuring the film, Hidden Figures, and the women of color who paved the way in space travel. The ticket for the day will include viewing the film and hands-on activities and exploration of the Harsco Science Center and STEM Design Studios for all participants.
The schedule for the day is as follows:
- 9:30 am -3:00 pm Science Center exploration and activities
- 10:00 am and 1:00 pm Hidden Figures showtimes
Space Fun Activities:
- Designing a Mars Rover with Cubelets
- Exploring constellations
- Creating a telescope
- Photo opportunity for your astronaut
- Variety of astronomy videos on our Science on a Sphere
- More exciting stations available for all ages!
Ticket Price:
$12 non-members | $8 members
Everyone 3 years of age and older must purchase a ticket. Members who want to visit only Harsco Science Center on January 17th may check in at the Box Office with their membership card for entry.
Masks are strongly encouraged for all guests attending Harsco Science Center and Select Medical Digital CInema. Masks are required for all guests who are unvaccinated.
