UPMC Science Center Memberships

UPMC Science Center Membership provides guests year-long access to our Science Center. Aside from unlimited science center visits, enjoy special discounts and pricing inside Whitaker Center – your membership pays for itself in just three visits!

Family Membership

$149 (valid for 2 adults*, up to 6 juniors age 17 and under)  

Buy a Membership

$30 per additional member (limit of 2 additional adults)

*2 adults must occupy the same household. Members must bring their valid membership card and photo ID when visiting the Center to be admitted to UPMC Science Center.  

Want to give a Whitaker Center membership as a gift? Simply purchase a gift card here in the dollar amount of the desired membership level.

Important Note: Please be sure to list all names on Memberships as they appear on your state/federal ID. Nicknames and shortened names may be difficult to verify at other ASTC properties. When submitting your order, please provide the names exactly how you would like them to appear on your membership card. Example: 

First Name: John & Jane 
Last Name: Doe

  • $2 Off Select Medical Digital Cinema Hollywood & documentary tickets

Friend Membership

$170 (2 adults, up to 6 juniors age 17 and under) 

Friend Level members receive all of the above benefits, plus:

  • 2 additional UPMC Science Center Guest Passes (one time use only)
  • Tax-deduction for the contributed portion of the membership (above the $149 membership value)
  • Name included in donor listings in SPOTLIGHT magazine for one year
