Pledge or Recurring Donation
Pledge:
A pledge is a promise to make a specified payment within the fiscal year (July 1 to June 30). Pledges to Whitaker Center must be paid by June 30 each year. You can make a pledge by contacting the Development Office at development@whitakercenter.org.
Whitaker Center allows pledge commitments to endowment and capital projects over a period of five years.
Recurring Gifts:
A recurring gift is an ongoing, specific gift amount determined by a donor. This amount is charged monthly, annually, or quarterly to a donor’s credit card.
Your recurring gift is a dependable source of support that Whitaker Center can count on throughout the year!

Sponsorships
Corporate sponsorship is a great way to support the arts and culture in the Harrisburg community. It also helps gain exposure among Whitaker Center patrons and members. We tailor sponsorship packages to meet the needs of your organization.
Without our corporate partners, Whitaker Center would not be able to provide the diversity or high quality programming that has become our hallmark. We offer companies sponsorship opportunities for many of our films, performances, exhibits, and educational programs.

EITC
EITC, or the Education Improvement Tax Credit, is a PA Department of Community and Economic Development program. It provides incentives for eligible businesses when they donate to eligible organizations. Whitaker Center uses EITC funding to help public school students access the experiences offered in the UPMC Science Center, STEM Education Labs programs, Documentary Films, live performances at our Sunoco Performance Theater, and more!
Companies eligible for EITC are invited to call our Development Department at (717) 724-3880 for more information about giving to Whitaker Center.

Whitaker Center is committed to making sure that as many children as possible have the opportunity to learn and explore through our various educational programs. The Whitaker Center Educational Outreach Fund (WCEOF) allows us to offer reduced admission fees for Title 1 schools.
WCEOF assists with the cost of field trips for UPMC Science Center visits and Select Medical Digital Cinema documentary films. These funds also provide discounts for Surgery Live! Programs and Summer Camps.
