Step Into The Rainforest

This immersive exhibit introduces visitors to the world of the rainforest and the fascinating animals that call these gigantic diverse ecosystems home. Learn about rainforest ecology, their importance to the planet, rainforest conservation and meet some of the coolest animals that live in the rainforest..

In addition to offering live animal interactions, Under the Canopy also has interactive activities, bilingual instructional signs, and unique animal presentations.

Under The Canopy is created by Little Ray’s Exhibitions and F.A.R.E. (Little Ray’s Foundation for Animal Rescue and Education), a proud member of Canada’s Accredited Zoos and Aquariums (CAZA).

This world class exhibit, produced by Little Ray’s Nature Center and hosted at Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts, will feature habitats with live animals and plants. Visitors will have the chance to see a Two-Toed Sloth, Green Iguana, Chameleon, and dozens of other incredible species!
