Junior engineers dive into the world of robotics by building and programming robots using LEGO® Education SPIKE™. Whether they’re new to robotics or simply ready to level up, each workshop offers a fresh opportunity to build, code, and innovate.

Our team is ready to welcome you to the amazing world of LEGO Spike Robotics! Here are this year’s themes:
Saturday, October 24th: Hopper Race
Learn about the engineering design process and how limitations can inspire creativity. Design multiple prototypes to find the most effective way to move a robot without using wheels.
Saturday, November 14th: Rain or Shine (NEW)
In this lesson, students explore cloud data and weather forecasting by programming a LEGO SPIKE Prime Weather Caster to retrieve and display real-time weather predictions for locations around the world.
Saturday, January 16th: Out of Order
Practice your coding skills by debugging a pre-made machine. First, build a cart to haul around objects, then change the code it runs on to improve its design.
Saturday, January 30th: Stretch With Data (NEW)
Discuss Pitch, Roll, and Yaw and how they can be recorded over time. Use graphs to track your data and try to replicate movements based on others’ graphs.
Saturday, February 27th: Place Your Order (NEW)
Students use their problem-solving skills to “start a business.” The first step is creating a package-checking robot to ensure parcels are sorted correctly.
Saturday, April 24th: Keep It Safe
Create a safe deposit box to store your valuables, and learn about conditional statements to build a combination lock for security!
Saturday, May 22nd: Brain Game
In this lesson, students explore arrays (lists) by programming a LEGO SPIKE Prime Brain Game that challenges players to recreate color sequences using memory and logical thinking.
