Tiny Tots
Tiny Tots: Adventures in STEAM is a “Grown up and Me” Toddler program (Ages 2 yrs and younger) that encourages a child’s first science exploration. We will sing, read and explore our way through themed activities designed for interaction between the tots and their grown ups. There will be time at the beginning and end of the program to explore our KidsPlace exhibit as well.
Dates and Times
Tiny Tots runs October to May, Tuesday mornings, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in our KidsPlace Area.
Please note, the rest of the Science Center will not be available for exploration during this time.
Other Details:
Please enter through the 3rd Street entrance (This entrance can be found across the street from Strawberry Square).
Grown-Ups MUST stay with their Tiny Tot at all times!
Pricing
Members: $3 per child
Non-members: $10 per child
Each child ticket includes admission for one accompanying adult.
ACCESS card for complimentary admission is available.
If inquiring about complimentary admission with an ACCESS card, please contact info@whitakercenter.org to discuss the registration process.
Registration
Pre-registration is required, but we know life can change quickly with a tiny tot, so with that in mind, registration will stay open until our program’s start time.

Welcome to Tiny Tots!
We hope you’ll come sing, dance, explore and play with us! The month of October can be spooky, but it can also be fun! Let’s learn more about some spooky topics so they don’t seem so scary anymore!
Tuesday 10/1: Spiders
Let’s weave a web of learning as we dance, sing and discover more about these 8 legged creatures.
Tuesday 10/8: Night Animals
Some animals only come out after dark, let’s learn more about these creatures of the night.
Tuesday 10/15: Jack O’lanterns
These big orange round things with faces are everywhere this time of year, let’s explore them and make them fun instead of scary!
Tuesday 10/22: Skeletons
They may look a little creepy and scary, but skeletons are just part of our bodies! Let’s learn more about dem bones!
Tuesday 10/29: Halloween
It can be fun to dress up, but it can also be a little freaky to see our friends look different. Let’s take the mask off Halloween so that we can all have fun!
