Parking
Most Street parking in downtown Harrisburg is free after 5:00 P.M. Monday-Saturday and all day on Sundays. Please refer to this map for hourly parking rates.
Parkmobile App: Harrisburg City has partnered with the popular parking app, Parkmobile, to make metered street parking more convenient for guests. See description and full list of discounts here.

Walnut Street Parking Garage
Walnut Street Parking Garage allows guests the convenience of parking and direct entry to Whitaker Center! Simply park and take the elevator to the “Arcade” level. Head up the stairs or the handicap ramp, and the doors are straight ahead on the left, providing easy access as you visit Whitaker Center.

The parking garage connected to Whitaker Center is now operated by a company that uses app-based payment ONLY.
To make your exit smooth and stress-free, we strongly recommend:
Before you arrive:
- Download the parking app: Metropolis (Apple) or Register your vehicle online (Android)
- Create an account
- You will need the license plate number of the vehicle you will be parking
- Add a payment method
No smartphone? No problem.
Street parking near Whitaker Center is FREE after 5 P.M. Monday-Saturday and all day Sunday!
How to Get There
From Market Street
Proceed 1/2 block and turn left onto Court Street (Court Street is located between Hilton Harrisburg & Whitaker Center). Take the ramp to the left to enter the garage.
From Walnut Street
Proceed through the traffic signal at 3rd Street, proceed 1/2 block (Court Street), and turn left onto the ramp for entry to the Walnut Street Parking Garage.
