During Sensory Saturdays, we adjust exhibit lights and sound effects and add hands-on activities to foster a safe, welcoming, and most importantly — FUN — environment for all visitors. Quiet spaces are available during Sensory Saturday events for visitors needing a break. Additionally, sensory borrow backpacks will be available at our Market Street Box Office on a first-come, first-served basis.
The UPMC Science Center opens one hour before its regular opening time for a quieter, less crowded environment.

Non-members: General Admission ($13 per child | $16 per adult | Free for children under 3)

Please note: There will be no Sensory Saturday session in October due to Space Day 2026!
