Wicked fans, rejoice — now is your chance to sing along, too! Join us for a Wicked Sing-Along screening in our Select Medical Digital Cinema on October 10!

Defy gravity — and normal theater conventions — by showing off your best Wicked costumes, too! We’ll hold space for a costume contest and the two top picks (one child and one adult) will each receive four (4) UPMC Science Center ticket vouchers that will be good through June 1, 2026. We’ll hold the costume contest from 4:30-4:45 p.m. Check out more information from the movie’s website for some inspiration on your costume.

Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter and guitarist Richard Thompson is set to bring his extraordinary talent to the Whitaker Center on February 23! Widely regarded as one of the greatest guitarists of all time, Thompson’s career spans over five decades, blending folk, rock, and traditional British influences into a uniquely captivating sound. Richard Thompson’s musical influence cannot be overstated. Having co-founded the groundbreaking group Fairport Convention as a teenager in the ‘60s, he and his bandmates invented the distinctive strain of British Folk Rock. The Los Angeles Times called him “the finest rock songwriter after Dylan and the best electric guitarist since Hendrix” and Rolling Stone has named him one of the Top 100 Guitarists of All Time.
