Whitaker Center is proud to present the Women of Impact: Celebrating Women in STEM Awards Luncheon to recognize women that have made an impact in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Join us at Whitaker Center on September 12, 2019; check-in starts at 11:30 AM with lunch following at 12:00 PM. This event benefits our Girls in STEM Initiative that empowers girls to know they are strong enough to change the world.

Joining Whitaker Center as the 2019 keynote speaker, presented by Hewlett-Packard, is Christina Lowery, CEO of Girl Rising, a global campaign for girl’s education and empowerment that is changing the way the world values and invests in girls and girls’ education. Christina is responsible for the strategy and execution of Girl Rising’s expanding work around the globe including the production of new films and other media, implementation of GR’s on the ground programs and ongoing engagement with public and private sector partners, foundations, media partners, educators, and grassroots supporters.
