2023 Ice & Fire Festival

Whitaker Center is participating in Harrisburg's Ice & Fire Festival with a fun and free activity for all ages!

 Join us on Saturday, March 4, for the Ice Sculpture Scavenger Hunt at the Market Street entrance. Get your selfie with our sculpture and then warm up inside with our MELTING ICE ART activity. The science center and cinema will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

MELTING ICE ART
Ice can be an incredible thing. It can be turned into stunning sculptures and can be used in a variety of STEM applications, not to mention it helps keep our drinks cool! This hands-on activity will focus on the artistic side of ice. We will use ice, salt, and liquid watercolor to make our very own “super cool” artwork!

Science Center & Select Medical Digital Cinema will be OPEN

The Harsco Science Center and Select Medical Digital Cinema will be OPEN on March 4 from 9:30 am to 3 pm with paid admission.
