Our goal is to make your visit to Whitaker Center educational, fun and easy. Please help us serve you better by reviewing the information in this section before scheduling your class for a field visit. School Reservation Office personnel will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts is open daily except for Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas. Whitaker Center will be open on Community Days but does not allow visits by school groups on these days (click here for schedule). This schedule is subject to change.

School District Partnership Contract Program

Whitaker Center offers school districts the opportunity to save even more on school group attendance. School districts that participate in the School District Partnership Contract (SDPC) Program save at least 10% off regular school group rates, educator professional development workshop fees, and Whitaker On Wheels (WOW) bookings.
