Big Science Theatre

Big Science Theatre, Whitaker Center’s in-house troupe of professional actors, employs innovative, interpretive teaching techniques to educate visitors about science and technology. Big Science Theatre’s high-energy programs exemplify the intersection of science and the arts and invite students to actively learn through entertaining, educational presentations by professional performers using theatrical sets, props and lights.

Programs average 15 to 20 minutes in length and take place in Harsco Science Center. Shows are free with paid admission to Harsco Science Center; however, seating is limited. Ask about scheduling Big Science Theatre programs when you book your school visit.
