Hailed for their flawless execution, New York-based band The Machine is America’s premier Pink Floyd tribute band. Their performances showcase Pink Floyd’s enormous legacy through a multi-dimensional approach. The band’s impeccable recreation of Floyd tunes and their own reinterpretation of hypnotic jams, provide audiences with an unforgettable experience.
During their 20-year existence, The Machine has formed a close relationship with their growing audience. Throughout the band’s career, they have gained worldwide success, reaching an international fan base. As a result, The Machine has toured throughout North America, Central America, the Middle East and Europe.
In March 2009, The Machine’s latest concert DVD, Live in Amsterdam, received prominent coverage from msnbc.com. "It’s been very rewarding for us to travel all over the country and internationally ─ having the honor to present the musical experience of Pink Floyd to newer fans who never had the option of seeing Pink Floyd in concert,” said drummer Todd Cohen. “It is a complete thrill to hear a fan tell me ‘my soul was filled with the magic of the music you made.’ This is timeless music that we’re excited to continue sharing worldwide."
The Machine is currently in the studio recording a “psychedelic” collection of Pink Floyd songs expected to be released in early 2011.
Band members include Todd Cohen (drums) and Joe Pascarell (guitar/vocals), who are founding members of the group, as well as Ryan Ball (bass/backing vocals) and Scott Chasolen (keyboard/vocals).
