SpoonAn American indie band from Austin, Texas, Spoon was formed back in 1994. Struggling to get beyond the underground press of the ‘90s followed by years of hard work, allowed Spoon to become one of the greatest bands of the decade. 2007 finally gave Spoon the widespread commercial acclaim they've deserved for so long; Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga hit Billboard's top 10, and the band performed on Saturday Night Live.

Spoon proves their amazing talent and experience with the consistent perfection of live performances, which are famously known for contagious hooks and lively rhythms. The Washington Post claims, “Their live set is as close to perfection as live music gets.”

When asked about the achievements of the 2000’s compared to fifteen years ago, drummer Jim Eno shared, “Maybe people just get us more now.” The band tributes their success to their huge Spoon fan base ─ spanning in age from those who were with them from they beginning ─ to those who are just now catching on to these phenomenal musicians.

The band’s legend continues with their most recent release, Transference, released in January; topping the Billboard Top 200 charts at No. 4. Transference is discovered by fans to be the true “exploratory mode” of Spoon, which depicts the ridged, magnificent talents of lead singer/songwriter, Britt Daniel. While writing all the self described “raw” songs on the current album, Daniel chose a solitary lifestyle which allowed him to become inspired. "I'm never trying to be commercial or accessible...I'm usually way more pleased with the stuff that just kinda happens by accident," explains Daniel.
