Spooktacular Science 2010

Bubbling cauldrons, hair-raising experiments, and spooky Science Lab demonstrations will excite ‘mad scientists’ of all ages. Make your own slime or design a scary mask with a weekend full of fun and creepy activities. Free with paid Science Center admission.
“We’re pleased to offer guests of all ages opportunities to create cool make-and-take crafts and participate in spooky science experiences a second year in a row,” said Lori Lauver, Whitaker Center Director of Education. “Our goal is to make Halloween fun AND educational.”
In KidsPlace, young explorers can enjoy readings of Halloween-themed children’s books with hands-on activities at Storytime Science. Free with paid Science Center admission.
Boo-licious Bonus
Starting Friday, October 29, children ages 12 and under will have the yummy chance to receive Halloween goodie bags, courtesy of Wegmans Food Markets of Mechanicsburg. Goodie bags are not for purchase. Available as long as supplies last, October 29 - October 31, 2010. Free with paid Science Center admission.
