IversDubbed by The Washington Post as “the future of the Celtic fiddle,” Eileen Ivers has transformed the Irish fiddling tradition from a folk music staple, into an internationally-acclaimed art. As the nine-time All-Ireland Fiddle Champion, Ivers willingly takes responsibility to carry on the Irish music traditions, while continuing to perfect her own craft.

In 1985, Ivers was first introduced as one of the founding members of Cherish the Ladies, an all female, Irish-American music group. A decade later, she gained critical notoriety after joining the cast of Riverdance. Ivers’ accomplishments include collaborative session work with various artists, such as Paula Cole, Hall & Oates and Sting.

Ivers’ revolutionary approach of incorporating multiple genres into her music has garnered a growing and diverse fan base. With an ensemble of 13 musicians, Ivers’ 2010 spring tour, Beyond the Bog Road, provides fans with a heartfelt multimedia concert experience, integrating music, story, dance and film.
