For more than four decades, The Irish Rovers have charmed and entertained audiences around the world with their exciting stage shows. The Irish Rovers released their debut album, appropriately titled, The First Of The Irish Rovers, 45 years ago. Throughout their career, these international ambassadors of Irish music have maintained their timeless ability to deliver a rollicking, rousing performance of good cheer ─ one that will soon have you singing and clapping along. The Rovers’ songs have become anthems of revelry and joy among generation after generation of fans.
In 2010, the Irish Rovers released the album, Gracehill Fair, which earned Song of the Year at the VIMA's for the title track. The Rovers returned to their roots, while filming in Northern Ireland for their DVD/television special, Home in Ireland. Whitaker Center is pleased to be part of the band’s Drunken Sailor Tour, in promotion of their 2012 album release, Drunken Sailor.
