Audiences will find themselves cheering on the unlikely panda hero Po (Jack Black), as he whips into Kung Fu shape to save his home in China from the evil snow leopard, Tai Lung (Ian McShane).
Po is the laziest and clumsiest creature in Ancient China, but it is prophesized that he is the “Chosen One” to save his Valley from the evil warrior Tai Lung who has escaped from prison. He trains alongside the legendary Furious Five, including Tigress, Crane, Mantis, Viper and their guru, Master Shifu. Now, all hope lies in Po’s ability to master Kung Fu so he can battle Tai Lung.
Directors Mark Osborne and John Stevenson, in collaboration with Dreamworks Animation, present Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger’s screen play and the story, “Kung Fu Panda”, written by Ethan Reiff and Cyrus Vorus. The star-studded and talented cast includes Jack Black as Po the Panda, Jackie Chan as Master Monkey, Dustin Hoffman as Shifu, Ian McShane as Tai Lung, Lucy Liu as Master Viper, Angelina Jolie as Master Tigress, Seth Rogen as Master Mantis, Michael Clarke Duncan as Commander Vachir, David Cross as Master Crane, Randall Duk Kim as Oogway, Dan Fogler as Zeng and James Hong as Mr. Ping.
