Spooktacular Science and More part 2

Hello!
With Halloween quickly approaching, what better way to celebrate it than by checking out Whitaker Center’s FIRST EVER Spooktacular Science! Visit the Center October 23-25, and October 30-November 1 for some frighteningly fun activities, including interactive demos and games for “mad scientists” of all ages. Spooktacular Science is included with Science Center admission.
This week, I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek at one of the creepy chemistry demos ─ Alka-Seltzer® Rockets. Whitaker Center Interactor, Scott Budde, was kind enough to allow me to film the demonstration, so I could provide visitors with a preview of this cool activity. You'll need to visit Whitaker Center during Spooktacular Science to experience how this demo goes ‘BOOM’ and how eerie powers of chemistry are unleashed! To view a quick snippet of Scott's demonstration, watch the video below.
For those that do watch and listen to the segment piece, don't fret - that scream at the end is me, the take-off really was SPOOKTACULAR!
Happy Halloween,
Katie
