Parking at Whitaker Center

I hope that by now everyone has remembered to set their clocks back one hour. That’s one extra hour of wonderful sleep!
Many people who aren’t familiar with downtown Harrisburg probably wonder where exactly to park. Cities are always known for busy traffic, parking meters, and long walks. Making a visit to Whitaker Center doesn’t have to be so stressful ─ in fact, parking is very easy and convenient!
Niko Goes to Whitaker Center: A How-To Parking Guide by a Toddler demonstrates how easy a trip to Whitaker Center really is. The video begins at Niko’s house on the West Shore and follows him all the way to Whitaker Center; across the Market St. Bridge, down Court St., and into the Walnut St. Garage. Whitaker Center can also discount your Walnut Street parking garage pass. Patrons of the Science Center, IMAX® Theater, or Performance Theater can park for only $5 when they bring their ticket to the Box Office. Visits longer than 5 hours will be subject to an additional fee upon exiting the garage.
