Don’t Miss the Holiday Fun at Whitaker Center
Do you know where the world’s largest railway station is? Grand Central Terminal in New York City!
Guests can learn all kinds of neat facts like this by visiting one of Whitaker Center’s Holiday offerings such as the Holiday Trains and Trees Display, open now through January 3, 2010. A photo of one of the displays is to right.
This display, presented by the Strasburg Railroad, features a variety of beautiful, festive trees surrounded by themed toy train sets and more. Trains and Trees is included with paid admission to the Science Center.
Another fun event happening at Whitaker Center this season is the Holiday Family Fun Days, December 12 and December 19. Guests can enjoy a complimentary cup of hot chocolate, courtesy of Starbucks, while enjoying holiday tales presented by the Center’s Big Science Theatre actors. This event is also free with paid admission to the Science Center.
Be sure to make Whitaker Center one of your holiday stops this year!
Happy Holidays,
Katie
