A Look Back at The Twilight Saga Film Series
Based on the best-selling vampire romance novel series by author Stephenie Meyer, The Twilight Saga film series chronicles the developing romance between a human teenage girl and a mysterious vampire.
Twilight (2008)
In the captivating first film of the The Twilight Saga, 17-year-old Bella Swan moves to the small town of Forks, Washington, where she encounters Edward Cullen, a vampire. A forbidden romance blossoms between the teenagers, drawing Bella into danger by Edward’s potential to kill her with his vampirish thirst for blood. When a new vampire comes to town, Edward must fight to save Bella’s life.
The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009)
While celebrating her birthday with Edward and his family, a minor accident results in Bella shedding blood – a temptation too strong for the Cullen family of vampires to resist – resulting in a vampire attack on Bella. The incident leads the Cullens to move away, leaving Bella to form a relationship with Jacob Black. Consequently, she learns that Jacob has a secret – he is a werewolf – and struggles between her yearning for Edward and her newfound friendship with Jacob.
