On the Road with StuffeeTM

(Grades pre-K – 3)
Our friendly seven-foot-tall, blue-haired friend wants to visit your school! Stuffee opens up to discuss body systems, good nutrition and organ transplant education. (PA Academic Standards: 1.6.3A; 1.6.3C; 3.3.4B; 9.1.3I; 10.1.3B; 10.1.3C; 10.1.6B). Stuffee is underwritten by Capital BlueCross and presented in cooperation with the Pennsylvania Gift of Life Donor Program.


Super Cold Science

(Grades K – 5)
Super cold liquid nitrogen goes on the road to make this demonstration one of the coolest around. We illustrate the three states of matter, shatter balloons, liquefy your breath, and make liquid nitrogen ice cream…what better way to wrap up a cool show! (PA Academic Standards: 3.1.4B; 3.1.4E; 3.4.4A; 3.4.4B). Specialty gases provided by Airgas, Inc.


It’s Shocking

(Grades K – 5)
We’ll spark your students’ interest in the shocking world of static electricity by using a Van de Graaff generator to illustrate electron build-up, discharge, and static electricity safety. (PA Academic Standards: 1.6.3A; 1.6.3C; 3.4.4B; 3.4.4C; 9.1.3I)


StarLab

(Grades 3 – 5, 6 – 8)
Introduce your students to Greek mythology and basic celestial navigation skills used by ancient and modern explorers in our portable planetarium. Audience limit of 25. (PA Academic Standards: 1.6.5D; 3.4.7D).

Join Dr. I. M. Screen as the human body is brought to life through interactive demonstrations and light-hearted illustrations featuring nine REAL human organs. (PA Academic Standards: 1.6.3A; 1.6.3C; 3.3.4B; 9.1.3I; 10.1.3B; 10.1.6B). Presented in cooperation with the International Institute for Advancement in Medicine (IIAM).
