Select Medical IMAX® Theater
Select Medical IMAX Theater delivers the ultimate film experience and offers a variety of new films each year and a film library with more than a dozen features for private screenings. Now, through the magic of IMAX DMR® movie-goers can also experience the larger-than-life adventure, drama and emotion of their favorite Hollywood blockbusters. The 200-seat theater features colorful, comfortable seating, a full-service concession stand, and a skilled staff ready to make your IMAX Experience unforgettable.

Imagine the power of your presentation on a six-story-high screen with the exclusive use of the mid-state’s most incredible auditorium. The theater offers a digital projection system for DVD, VHS or PowerPoint with state-of-the-art surround sound and stadium seating for corporate meetings, product launches, film lectures and more. Adjacent reception space and private screenings make Select Medical IMAX Theater ideal for almost any company event.

 

Harsco Science Center
Harsco Science Center features more than 240 interactive exhibits, live science theatre, seasonal programs and a changing array of traveling engagements in Gloria M. Olewine Gallery.

After hours, Harsco Science Center opens its doors for private receptions and gatherings. Private parties can enjoy hors d'oeuvres and cocktails amidst exhibit galleries, virtual reality programs and traveling attractions. Harsco Science Center is not your typical venue–it’s a lot more fun!

Accommodates up to 800 for a
reception; the individual halls/levels
hold 200-350 guests.

Sunoco Performance Theater
Sunoco Performance Theater is hailed by audiences and performing artists as the most comfortable, friendly, acoustically perfect listening room in Central Pennsylvania. The auditorium seats 700 within the Orchestra, Mezzanine and Balcony levels, and 14 theater boxes. The gently raked seating area ensures every audience member a clear view with no guest seated more than 65 feet from the stage. The theater features a traditional proscenium stage with optional apron extension, an orchestra pit with mechanical lift, and technical equipment including facilities for video and film. With the Broadway-size stage and fly space and professional light and sound, Sunoco Performance Theater accommodates nationally touring productions, multi-media presentations and special events while delivering an experience and atmosphere unlike any other.

 

Kunkel Gallery
Located on the Arcade Level of Whitaker Center, Kunkel Gallery is one of the most dramatic spaces in the Commonwealth. Gorgeous high ceilings, one-of-a-kind lighting and easy accessibility makes this a premier event location. This attractive lobby area can be isolated from other activities or easily be combined with adjacent spaces for large social event capacity. Available for day and evening meetings, luncheons, receptions or any special event.

Kunkel Lobby
Adjacent to Kunkel Gallery, this mezzanine lobby of Sunoco Performance Theater offers flexible added space for larger events in a dramatic, windowed setting.

AMP Grand Lobby
Located in the heart of Whitaker Center, this architecturally exciting space is an open lobby area that can be combined with either Harsco Science Center or Sunoco Performance Theater as a reception, dance or other social function area. The beautiful terrazzo floor makes it an ideal area for dancing. Catering facilities
are easily accessible.

Green Room
Adjacent to Sunoco Performance Theater, this well-appointed room is the perfect setting for a pre or post-performance activity. The Green Room is a quiet, cozy gathering area for meetings and small lectures with a convenient catering station just down the hall.
